The first technological unit of the university was established in the development center. The technological idea of the established unit is the production of gluten-free flour products (flour, bread, cake) specifically for celiac patients as" celiac patient complex".

Dr. Shahin Nargesi added: The Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology has provided the necessary assistance for the development of this technological entity. The majority of these services include providing a proper work environment and physical infrastructure services such as basic administrative and computer facilities, as well as laboratory services. She further pointed out the advantages of establishing technology units in the development center and added: The development centers will provide the necessary services to the technological units in order to transform new ideas into commercial products and to be on the path of becoming knowledge-based.

She added that the establishment of the first technology unit in the university's development center is the beginning of a new approach in supporting innovative and technological projects, and soon we will see the establishment of other technology units and benefit from new opportunities in this center.
